B. Book Before it’s too Late

This year especially, timing is everything. The pent-up demand created by COVID restrictions is causing a rush on vacation rentals. The soonest you can decide and firm up your travel dates, the more choices you will have. That said, also include some flexibility. Sometimes booking early or late can make all the difference. Our summer months are already almost fully booked so there’s no time to waste!

I. It’s Always About the People

So, who’s coming on your getaway? If it’s just you, looking for a time to be alone with your thoughts, well, you have a broad selection from which to choose. Add a spouse or partner, and you might look for something a bit more romantic. Add kids and you’ll want bunk beds. Add grandparents and you want an elevator. So, before you choose the house, think through all the people in your party to make sure you are accommodating everyone.

N. No Pets Allowed

Well, sometimes they ARE allowed! Several of our properties are pet friendly – click here to see which ones. If you’re bringing a dog, the beach you choose will impact how much time you spend with your pet as well. For instance, Carolina Beach allows dogs all year long, although during summer months they cannot be on the beach strand between 9am and 5pm. Wrightsville Beach only allows dogs (on leash, of course) from October until April. G. Golf Cart or Bikes?

Think about getting a place where you can just park the car once. Traffic this beach season is especially busy. We know you didn’t come all the way to North Carolina’s beaches to sit in your car for hours. At Sea Scape, our homes offer awesome amenities and many that include beach cruisers for you to take advantage of. We find it makes getting around town that much easier!
