Things to Know When Visiting During the Off Season
Our off-season runs from right after Labor Day weekend to right before Memorial Day weekend which means ALL of our vacation rentals offer lower rates during this time but long-term vacation rentals are only from October 1 – March 31. It’s a unique time to visit this popular winter beach destination with warm weather, fewer crowds, and tons of seasonal events.
Here are a few things to keep in mind for your stay:
Since the weather is still warm, your typical beach gear is perfect. But a cool breeze can be expected at times on the beach and the early mornings and nights can get a bit chilly. We recommend packing a light jacket or sweater, pants, warm socks and closed-toe shoes.
But, because our vacation homes include linens, bath/beach towels and fully equipped kitchens, your suitcase is all you need to bring. Many properties also include beach accessories like beach toys, coolers and beach carts. Other amenities can be rented from our local partners at Seaside Linen & Rental Co.
